Dominican Education Australia (DEA)

15 May 2017 | General Interest

250 participants from thirty schools and Colleges with a Dominican heritage from all Australian States and New Zealand, gathered together at Siena College Camberwell, for the inaugural Dominican Education Australia Conference.

Dominican Education Network Conferences have been held for many years but this was the first since DEA was launched

Board Directors, members of School Executives, Teaching and Non-teaching staff and Dominican Sisters came together to explore with our Dominican Brother, Father Timothy Radcliffe OP, the theme of Truth Searching. Participants were provided with opportunities for listening, dialoguing, creatively responding, praying and coming together for Eucharist.

Concurrent sessions from excellent presenters on a wide variety of topics enabled exploration of the theme in a variety of different contexts.

Thank you to Siena College for their generosity in hosting the Conference.

The 2019 Conference will be held in Invercargill New Zealand
