Acts of Kindness

21 November 2017 | General Interest

In response to a visit by some sisters from the Solomon Island, three students from Santa Maria Del Monte, the primary school of Santa Sabina College, have acted with great kindness.

Anabel, Aarya and Alexandra listened to the stories the sisters shared with them about the needs of the students in their schools.

Making lemonade and selling to the neighbours, producing and packaging lavender and rose water soap and selling it at the markets and giving a cash donation were ways in which the students responded. All of this was done unbeknown to their teachers.

Sister Judith, the Prioress of the Congregation visited the Solomon Islands this week and took with her the money and the pictorial story to share with the sisters.

A big thank you to the students for their kindness, concern and social awareness for those who have much less than them
