Federation of Dominican Sisters in Oceania

29 May 2018 | General Interest

Dominican Sisters from New Zealand, Western Australia, South Australia, Solomon Islands and Eastern Australia met recently in Adelaide for their annual Federation Meeting.

Sr Mary Wright IBVM met with us to discuss issues of mutual concern, in particular to address issues impacting ageing congregations.

Our coming together enabled us to catch up on what is happening for each congregation and also an opportunity to acknowledge those members of each group who had died since the last meeting.

Among other matters discussed was a report on the UNCSW Conference in New York  with a Power Point summary of the Consultation on the Status of Women.
