Sr Laurie Brink OP

Sr Laurie Brink OP, (Dominican Sister of Sinsinawa USA), is a Professor of New Testament Studies at the Catholic Theological Union in Chicago. She has taught courses on the Gospels, Letters of Paul, Acts of the Apostles, and Early Christian Literature. As a Dominican, she is keenly interested in promoting biblical literacy and to that end has given presentations and workshops throughout the United States and in Australia, Bolivia, Jamaica, the Philippines, and Trinidad & Tobago. 

Laurie spent three weeks both in the Solomon Islands and Australia meeting with her Dominican sisters in Honiara, Gizo, Sydney, Waratah and Maitland. She also spent time with the Dominican Associates in Waratah, giving input and leading discussion on topics such as Encountering the Word of Jesus; What would Jesus do? Mission for our fractured world; and Biblical Foundation of Apostolic Religious Life.
